- - - sie auch die Fackelläufe mitgelaufen sind und extrain Waffen; sie auch vor den dort wohnenden Bürgern eine Probe ihrer Kenntnisse abgelegt haben, wofür sieauch belobigt worden sind; sie auch die Schiffe wieder ans Land gezogen und abgegeben haben dem Schatzmeister der Werftkasse, wie siesie übernommen hatten; sie auch die anderen Opfer den Göttern geopfert haben auf dem Land und in den Festungen; sie auchaus eigenen Mitteln ein Katapult angeschafft haben gemäß den Beschlüssen des Volkes - - -; gehorsamim Unterricht, sie auch hiervon Probe abgelegt haben - - - und bei den Gedenkfeiern für die Gefallenen undvor dem Rat und alles gemäß den Gesetzen getan haben, weil sie gut gehorcht und die Mühen und Schwierigkeitenohne Zaudern auf sich genommen haben; – Da es sich geziemt, verdiente Menschen zu ehren und die jüngeren zuder gleichen Gesinnung zu veranlassen, damit ein Wettstreit sei unter den jeweiligen Epheben um Disziplin und um Gehorsam gegenüber den vomVolk für ihre gute Ordnung eingesetzten (Lehrern); (und) damit auch Rat und Volk öffentlich verdiente Menschenehren, zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die erlosten Vorsitzenden für die kommende Volksversammlunghierüber verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat es für gut befindet,dass man belobige die Epheben unter dem Archon Zopyros und sie bekränze mit goldenem Kranz wegen ihrer Frömmigkeitgegenüber den Göttern und ihrer Disziplin, die sie stets während des gesamten Jahres bewiesen haben, und ihres Ehrgeizesfür den Rat und das Volk, und verkündige diesen Kranz - - -Lückedass man belobige auch ihre Lehrer und den Waffenausbilder Persaios S.d. Symmachos aus dem Demos Kikynna, und denSpeerwurflehrer Nikomachos S.d. Nikomachos aus dem Demos Aphidna, und den Knabenerzieher Hermodoros S.d. Heortios aus dem Demos Acharnai, und denKatapultausbilder Pedieus S.d. Neandros aus dem Demos Kerameis, und den Bogenschießtrainer Sosos S.d.
